We are Aldrin and Jennifer – both 52 year old educators from Southern Ontario who are lucky enough to be on sabbatical this year. We are spending the year travelling, mostly with our RV, mostly North America.
Aldrin is a high school principal. He was a math and science teacher for 11 years before going into administration, where he has worked for the last 15 years as a vice-principal and now a principal. He is also a certified personal trainer. His hobbies and passions include golfing, creating music, and also physical fitness.
Jennifer is a high school history teacher, and has been in the classroom for 25 years. She is usually the voice behind the blog. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and she is learning to knit and bake.
We have been married for 26 years and together have two adult children – 19 and 21 years old. Our joint passions are family, hiking, and travelling.
We have two four legged travel companions on most of their trips. Maggie is a 7 year old llhasa-poo – a 15 pound ball of fluff that barks at anything that even thinks about crossing whatever she considers to be her property. Arlo is a 90 pound golden doodle, who thinks he is 20 pounds, and believes that he must love everyone he meets – because he is sure they love him.
Most of the time we travel in our Ram Warlock 1500 and Jayco 145RB, though we also use VRBO and hotels some of the time. One trip this year will also be a European cruise.
